A new anti-cancer polysaccharide from the genus Bifidobacterium
This invention is regarding the anti-cancer activity polysaccharide of 1,400,000 or 1,500,000 molecular weight isolated from the Bifidobacterium, which is known as the probiotic bacteria among bacteria in intestines of humans and animals, the method to separate and refine this polysaccharide, and functional food and pharmaceutical compositions that include this polysaccharide. In detail, this invention is regarding the followings: First, homogenization of heat treated polysaccharide fraction that shows anti cancer activity induced from bifidobacterium Bifidum BGN4. Second, the method to separate and refine anti-cancer active polysaccharide including the homogenization heat treatment, phenol extraction, and concentration using ethanol. Third, various food materials or medicine preparations whose active ingredient is this polysaccharide.
Composition for Prevention and Treatment of Food Allergy containing Bifidobacterium bifidum BGN4 as Active Ingredient
This invention is regarding the method to prevent and treat food allergy by B.bifidum BGN4 as beneficial ingredients and by administering the B.bidum BGN4 containing composition.
